History

The Liquid Oxygen Header Test Tank (also known as the LOX HTT) was a test tank built by SpaceX based on the design of the header tank that would be located in the nosecone of Starship.

The tank was constructed during January 2020, after being completed it was rolled out to the testing area on 23 January.

On January 25 the tank was tested successfully over a period of several hours. On 25 January it was tested again until destruction.
