History
The Mk1 prototype was completed ahead of a public unveiling on 28 September 2019 during an updated on the Starship program by Elon Musk.
The prototype later had its nosecone removed, before being rolled out for testing. It was during this testing that the prototype’s tanks were ruptured and destroyed while under going a cryogenic pressure test.
